St. Matthews United Methodist - Fellowship Hall Renovations
Sometimes solving a functional need may result in also improving the spirit of place. An existing roof was leaking and needed to be replaced. Younger parishioners petitioned for a higher ceiling such that sports could be played. By raising the new multi-purpose room roof and tilting it, all functional needs were resolved, plus the architecture for this space now has a soaring/uplifting character.
